The third Tuesday of each month, typically between the hours of 8pm Tuesday and 2am Wednesday morning, the national smart meter network frequently conducts their maintenance activities. Occasionally these activities do affect their service operations and therefore any communication with the smart meter network can fail. n3rgy avoid these periods for data collection but if a consumer signs up to our service (directly or via our customers platforms) failures may occur.
Recently we've seen increasingly longer and more frequent maintenance windows being scheduled by the national smart meter network (Smart DCC). These are now taking place most Tuesday nights (from 8pm to 2am) but occasionally last until 8am Wednesday and often impact service.
NOTE: The National Network have requested we "slow" our requests while they work with Energy Suppliers to update their meter tariffs during the energy price cap changes scheduled for the 1st October, 2023 and the beginning of each quarter as we move forward. As a result, during this period there will be a slight slow down in data collection.
The following schedules have currently been advised, "Low Impact (L)" maintenance suggests little or limited impact to service, "High Impact (H)" maintenance suggest significant service disruption for both data collection and signup. Hours are as advised above unless stated others
